Nature of Position We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator for a permanent full-time position at our Keremeos Childcare Centre, ideally immediately. The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall daily operations of the designated program as delegated by our Team Leader, Childcare Services including programming, health and safety, and adherence to licensing standards and contractual obligations. The program is currently a Multi-Age Child Care for up to 8 children. Qualifications Applicants will have a current Early Childhood Educator Certificate and previous childcare experience. A valid First Aid Certificate and Food Safe certificate would be an asset. Wage Rate The wage for the ECE position in Keremeos starts at $20.40 per hour and is eligible for the ECE Wage Enhancement of an additional $2.00 per hour. We also offer stepped increases for wages based on experience and service hours. Hours per Week Typically, 40.0-42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime rates apply to any hours over 40 weekly.
