Nature of Position OneSky is seeking three Childcare Workers for summer positions at the after school programs in Penticton (two) and Oliver (one). These are temporary, full-time positions that run from June 28, 2021 to September 3, 2021. The Childcare Worker will assist the Site Leader in the daily operations of the centre and provide quality care, recreation, education and social experiences for school age children. The Childcare Worker will be responsible for leading children in activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth. Qualifications Applicants will have, at minimum, 20 hours of child-related training. A valid First Aid Certificate and/or Class 4 Driver’s License would be an asset. This position would be suitable for students from the fields of social services such as Education, Early Childhood Education, Counselling, Recreation, Human Services or Community Support Worker. Wage Rate $15.77 per hour Hours & Shift 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:45 am – 5:15 pm Location(s) Penticton (two positions) and Oliver (one position)
