Nature of Position
We are looking for a manager that is passionate about healthcare, wellness, and patient experience to join our positive and energetic team. Reporting to the Director of Community Services, the Team Leader, Community Health Services supervises OneSky employees working in a centre that provides integrated health and social services in community. This includes medical office assistants, social worker, outreach worker, and peer support workers affiliated with Urgent Primary Care Centre and Martin Street Outreach Clinic. The Team Leader is responsible for supporting clinic operations and OneSky staff resources. The work also includes recruitment, training, selection, scheduling, and quality assurance.
The Team Leader represents OneSky’s interests at stakeholder meetings and participates in developing shared care, clinic planning, staffing, financial management, provider billings, client information management, quality assurance and community initiatives. The position is responsible for the coordination of social work, administrative work, and peer supports of the clinic and affiliated health services environments.
• Completion of a certificate or diploma program in Health Services, Social Services or Business
• Ability to work weekends, if necessary
• Three (3) years recent related experience, including one (1) year in a supervisory capacity is desirable
• Experience in a clinic setting with diverse practitioners/providers is desirable
• Experience working with EMR, MSP billing systems and clinic administrative processes is desirable
• Experience working with vulnerable populations in health services is desirable
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Salary commensurate with experience
