Job Description
ARC Programs is now accepting applications for Awake Night Workers to fill Full-time positions in our group-care program, located in Kelowna and West Kelowna. Applicants for this competition will work 10-hour shift rotations consisting of 4 days on, followed by 4 days off, including weekends and holidays. Working as part of a collaborative case management team, the Night Worker will provide for the physical care and emotional nurturing of the youth living in the home, as well as skilled intervention and supervision of the youth. Night Workers will cooperate with the staff team to monitor resident behaviours and maintain a clean, safe environment. The Night Workers will also be responsible for food preparation, housekeeping duties, and maintenance of the house. Ideally candidates will have experience working with high-risk children and youth with complex behavioral challenges, and preferably in a group-home setting. Please be aware that successful applicants will be eligible for a full benefit package {including dental plan, vision care coverage, life insurance, extended medical coverage {includes massage, chiropractor, etc}, long-term disability plan, and RRSP contributions}. New employees are also eligible for 3 weeks paid vacation to start, along with paid sick days as needed. Wages for this position start at $23.90 per hour, and increase depending on qualifications and experience.
