DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to perform, but not be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:  Identify, create, action, maintain, protect and maximize revenue opportunities with all existing and potential new clients;  Establish, foster and leverage relationships and opportunities in direct support of business development for Canadian North;  Monitor developments and trends in the North, with a focus on business development opportunities;  Build and maintain relationships with clients & ensures client satisfaction of all cargo operations;  Investigate customer concerns on service failures and coordinate resolution to maximize customer satisfaction;  Assist in development and execution of sales strategies;  Assist in negotiations and coordinate contract implementation for new and renewed business;  Assist in implementation of new Canadian North Air Cargo product;  Maintain a high standard of professionalism when executing position responsibilities;  Provides excellent internal and external customer service;  Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information of the business affairs of Canadian North, obtained directly or indirectly;  Actively participate in the Company's Safety Management System program and demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety;  Other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:  High School diploma or equivalent related work experience;  Three (3) years of previous experience;  Demonstrated negotiation and sales skills required;  Extensive knowledge of logistics coordination, cargo handling procedures/capabilities, fleet capabilities;  Ability to communicate both written and orally with all levels of the business community and government agencies;  Demonstrated organizational, leadership, customer service and interpersonal skills;  Must be adept to handling multiple tasks and prioritizing duties;  On call availability and willingness to travel extensively, as required;  Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines;  Northern related experience considered an asset;  Proficient with full MS Office Suite/ Excel and Word required; Skyline CMS considered an asset;  Must hold a valid driver’s license;  Ability to communicate in Inuktut a definite asset;  Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
